		<description>After having lived in the UK for five years and then coming to the US we are shocked at the huge gas guzzling cars that people drive here.  The car we had in the UK, a diesel engine, did 50mpg.  The company car my husband inherited with his job here does 14mpg.  We chose to live in a condo within walking distance to his office and so the car hardly gets used.  Hopefully people will start to live closer to their work and use public transport if they can.  As you say people in Europe and Canada have had to pay more for gas for years and Americans have been spoilt with cheap prices.</description>
